“Good curry”
Reviewed January 26, 2014 via mobile

Visited in a party of 14 including a few children who were catered gore with a good menu including curry for the more adventurous. Food was good and nicely spiced with a good portion size. The service was okay, a few sides missing but they came fairly quickly after it was noticed.

“Best in Swansea”
Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

The Anarkali is always good, I had an amazing tandoori monkfish last night along with jinga Caldeeen which had huge king prawns in it. The foods always tasty and lots of flavour and the menu has lots more choice than your standard stuff. It's regularly packed out and a regular in the British Curry awards for nominations in wales for years and is up for the award again. I've tried the others, but this is the best.

“Lovely Sunday buffet.”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Great décor, food was really nice and plenty of choice. Staff were quick but not too attentive which I loved. My partner was very impressed with her korma and said it was very flavourful. Very nice and would recommend. It may be the most expensive Indian on St Helen's Road but it's probably the best.

“Downhill”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

this used to be one of the best places for an indian in Swansea. Not sure whats happened of late. They have refurbished and reinvented themselves a few times but the service has just gone downhill so much that I had to write this. visited here with group of fourteen last month. we had made a reservation but that did not stop us from having to wait a while for our table on arrival! the food was not really that impressive, had to get the rice re heated twice before we could eat it. The onion Bhajis too were cold. I felt they must have used their lunchtime food on us. to make matters worse when the bill came we were overcharged for drinks we had not even had. the service staff seemed really unfriendly. not one of them had a smile. used to enjoy eating here. Not anymore. so many nicer places on the same road.

“Lovely”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

I went to Anarkali on Saturday night at around 8pm.
It was very busy and took the staff a while to seat us. we booked the table for 8pm and didn't get seated until around 8:25 which was quite disappointing.
The staff were quite helpful and the food was nice.
there were 18 of us at our table and after we all finished our meals everybody said their food was lovely.
My friends also got served for alcohol which was quite shocking as they are not 18. So if you want to go there and buy alcohol and you're not 18 then I suggest you go there.
