“Over priced and poor quality”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Went on a birthday bash and what a let down it was. Very slow service coupled with over cooked food not what you really want for a birthday meal. Portions large but quality very poor. Need to concentrate on quality rather than quality.

“Pleasant enough”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

I love American food and there was plenty on the menu. Even though kids are fussier eaters there was enough choice for them too.

“Awful”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

The only good thing about this visit was that we were shown to a table quickly. Otherwise I have vowed never to go to this place again. The service was non-existent. It felt like we waited a year to get served, and when we did the food was a disappointment. Whenever we wanted our drinks topped up, the staff were nowhere to be found. If we were lucky enough to catch a member of staff it took over 10 minutes for these drinks to arrive (Pouring 4 Cokes is not hard work). The food was not worth the price asked. The chips were cold and the burger was disappointing.

“Okay but not my favourite restaurant to visit!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

This was previously one of my favourite restaurants to come to, however i feel the standard has decreased. The prices for food are very expensive and although the quality is quite good, i would expect more for the prices paying. Around £12 for a veggie burger and some chips. It is not a particuarly fancy restaurant so the prices are a bit steep. There are not very many options for vegetarians either which is dissapointing. Only a few pasta dishes and a vegetarian burger. The service is good but not the best. Have often waiting up to an hour for food to be delivered to our table, with starters and main dishes being brought out at the same time rather than seperate. Probably wouldn't go here again unless forced.

“Dissapointing on all levels :(”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

After dining at the TGI's in Cardiff some months before we decided to take our boys age 9 and 15 here for a meal, not a good decision. After a lengthy wait we ordered kind of mixed grill combo's with jack daniel sauce with fries x 2 my 9 yr old had steak and fries and the 15 year old had a cheesburger and fries.

After another lengthy wait our food came, cold. Everyones fries were freezing, the meats were cold but also had either been overcooked or under cooked. My sons steak and chips was a feeble effort of a meal and it wasn't cheap, there was a small piece of steak and a handfull of chips on the plate, it was from the adult menu and served on a large plate, i am suprised they actually served it because surely they looked at it and could see the 10 fries tossed onto the plate looked rediculous. MY 15yr old enjoyed his burger but again had a handfull of cold chips, the staff were darting around as if rushed off their feet and had no time or a smile for you yet the restaurant was only half full, i had ordered half a lager and lime and had to ask three times for it.

I didn't bother to complain because i just couldn't wait to get out of there and say never again, place, no atmosphere for a place thats supposed to make a big fuss for parties etc, food was awful and had been standing for so long before being brought to you that it was freezing, our waiter was useless. I'm never totally negative about places and try to find some positives but there were no good points. Oh apart from there was a Swansea City football player there eating which made the boys happy, that was nothing to the credit of the restaurant though. This meal cost us £50 and wasn't wn.0/-orth 20p.232wwzx
