We had a wonderful meal as part of my birthday celebration. Staff were attentive and service very good. Menu had plenty of choice and looking around the food coming out to tables looked wonderful. We chose well and had a fabulous meal ending up with Grand Marnier Crepes flambed at the table! Gorgeous!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we look forward to a return visit.

We dined here during our leisure break at The Manor House. Due to a mix up with our dinner reservation we were allowed to dine here instead. How lucky were we! From the moment we were greeted and seated by Wes the evening was excellent. Beautiful fresh warm bread to enjoy while reading through the menu. Hubby chose the mussels in creamy curry sauce for starters, while I went for the baked camembert. Both were delicious. So delicious was the sauce with the mussels that Wes brought more bread for hubby. For mains we had the duck( hubby) and lamb shank. Again we couldn't fault the food. At this point we were both very full but I did manage to squeeze in the pear frangipane tart. Again this was delicious. Service throughout was excellent. One of the best meals we have had in a restaurant. Will certainly dine here again.

We visited the restaurant with friends for Valentines Day. The menu isn't cheap - £32.00 for a rib-eye steak, is expensive even for the Celtic Manor.

The food overall was good but the service was poor. The waiter servicing us was very pleasant, but he was rushed off his feet. At the prices they are charging, they really need to think about employing more staff. At two points during the meal, we had to get up and order our own drinks at the bar.

I would return for the food & atmosphere if the service improved.

Good food - a set menu with a choice of three meals, since this was included in a conference package. Service a little slow, but the servers were pleasant and courteous. Wine is pricey.

Great service, staff very friendly and helpful. Had the 2 course special and can't fault it. The mussel starter was big on quantity and flavour and the Duck main course was perfect.
