Description: An underground tapas bar near the Millennium Stadium, Pica Pica restaurant brings a little sunshine to rainy Cardiff. This cocktail and tapas bar is located in what was the last remaining bonded warehouse in the city, and is the brainchild of three former cocktail shakers. It's a basement bar so you descend a few steps to find the tiled bar itself in the middle of the room under an arched brick ceiling. Lots of stools line the bar and there's exposed brickwork, with other parts of the walls painted warm colours. Elsewhere, there's booth seating along the walls and on brown leather sofas. Pica Pica has plenty of beer, spirits ad wine at the bar and a good range of cocktails including Spanish Fizz and the house special is Pica Pica Hurricane which is made with a secret rum. A brilliant choice for parties, Pica Pica is a Cardiff favourite.

“Very nice cocktails, just a tad over priced.”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

Really cute, small cocktail bar. It's nice if you are going there for one or two drinks (especially during happy hour). But I would say unless you are buying cocktails during happy hour then all the other drinks are quite pricey ESPECIALLY if you are buying rounds, service was a bit slow considering it was not that busy. Otherwise, lovely atmosphere and nice for a quick catch up.

“A great place for a catch up”
Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

This is one of my favourite places in Cardiff. It's a great place to have a catch up over good, informal food and good cocktails. It's always fairly busy in there and has a good atmosphere. The service is always very good and the food is always pretty quick.

“Pre-Christmas revelry!”
Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

Spent a lovely afternoon here just before Christmas, couldn't fault it. The mulled wine was perfect, the tapas was lovely and the service was personable and efficient. Highly recommended!

“Great cocktails, terrible food!!!”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

Cocktails were great, great value at happy hour but the food was terrible.... worst tapas I've ever had and when we complained were told 'that's the way life goes'. Not recommended!

“Always a winner!”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Always nice in Pica Pica.. Good cocktails , great tapas & attentive service. Sometimes lacks atmosphere and can be a bit cold. Go on a Tuesday night for the 6 tapas dishes for £16 deal, excellent value. Deffo agree with one of the reviews below, the dates & bacon are bonza!!
