Description: Perched along Cardiff High Street, Bella Italia provides the perfect retreat from a busy day's shopping or an after work dinner with colleagues. Part of the hugely successful Bella Italia restaurant group, this Cardiff High Street branch boasts the signature Bella Italia design with a rustic yet stylish style dining room. The menu is full of Italian classics where you could start with a dish of Formaggio Fritto (mozzarella, fontina and parmesan cheese in breadcrumbs deep fried with sweet red onion marmalade followed by a mushrooms risotto or a chargrilled salmon fillet with tomato and olive salsa. Great for any dining occasion, Bella Italia is one Italian restaurant that won't break the bank.

The service was fine, the food was fine, the place is fine - clean, modern enough etc and menu satisfactory. There was nothing to elevate it to a higher mark but yet there wasnt really anything to complain about. If you eat you you wont go away sorry you chose it (in my opinion).

Every time I visit here it just gets better. The welcome you receive is fantastic and always friendly. The food is always fresh and delicious, service is quick and always spot on. The place itself is very quaint and atmospheric.
Fantastic place and staff, keep up the good work.

What a great way to spend a cold Saturday afternoon, tired out from shopping. A glass of Puglia red wine each, sharing a bolognaise as a starter, then having a pizza/calzone as a main course, there were no complaints, I was in absolute heaven the chicken/spinach/mozzarella/garlic and tomato filling was so delicious, I thought I had died and gone to heaven, just brilliant. The staff were on the ball and very helpful, the food was never left on the service counter for more than a few minutes. All in all cannot fault it. Not a bargain, but you get what you pay for. Milli grazi!

This little place has the best pasta. And I had a sweet there, a doughnut which was outstanding! A good price too.
