If you haven't visited Ty Rosa then you have missed a treat..

Forget all the other B&B's in Cardiff, this one is amazing, the food is of the very highest standards not surprising because Stuart is a high level trained chef.. The rooms are fit for a king... or should I say Queen... the welcome is brilliant the guys make sure that you know all the best places to go in Cardiff...

Room Tip: just tell the guys what you are looking for... both really friendly...

We stayed 2 nights at the Ty Rosa. It was a very enjoyable, pleasant stay. I would recommend this B&B to anyone. Stuart, Paul and Max the dog are amazing hosts. Making you feel so at home and welcome. We were given a map of the area and directions to city centre and the bay. and taxi numbers very useful. The B&B is a good 20minute walk to city centre. but just round the corner from Ikea!!! There is a bus stop outside, no.9 bus (every 30mins). We stayed in Lundy island, a room in the opposite house. With a bathroom shared by 2 other rooms. The room was clean and cosy and well stocked with tea, coffeee and bottled water. Iron & ironing board, kettle and lots of wardrobe and drawer space. The breakfasts on both days were outstanding. Plenty of fresh fruit, juices crereal, yoghurts (buffet) and gorgeous cooked to order breakfasts. We would recommend to all and will definitely stay again!!!

We have just returned from a mid week break in Cardiff, staying with Stuart, Paul and Max at the Ty Rosa. From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt at home, being greeted by Stuart, Max and a wonderful cup of coffee. We stayed in the Castle Keep, which was comfortable, clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and bottled water. Ty Rosa is excellently situated for both the City and the Bay. We were well armed with a map expertly marked out by Stuart, who enlightened Madison into the locations of Dr Who scenes. We stayed two nights and both breakfasts were superb! We loved our stay so much, we are planning our next year's trip to the Dr Who experience and will definitely stay with Stuart and Paul. A fabulous B&B run by two fabulous hosts.

Room Tip: No tips needed. From what we saw, all rooms are immaculately kept and comfortable.

Ty Rosa is easily linked to city centre and Mermaid Quay, rooms are beautifully set. the best thing is the food, we had dinner and breakfast, food quality is amazing. i just can't imagine any better experience than Ty Rosa. would love to visit again in the future.

I stayed here last week to spend some time with my son, who recommended Ty Rosa to me. Having driven from Devon, I got a warm, genuine welcome from Paul and Stuart, and a free upgrade to the 'penthouse' suite, Castle Keep. The room was a good size, clean and well equipped. All the meals were excellent, served in the informal lounge/dining room, where we were able to relax afterwards. The hospitality here was second to none, and I recommend it highly.
