Small but delicious selection of food to eat in. Friendly helpful staff. Particularly impressed by the little or no added salt. Interesting things to buy in the deli section.

Fresh, delicious food served by warm people - this is a great example of what a local deli should be. Food is consistently good, and they are more than happy to change things around / whip up offerings based on what you want.

Called in for a couple of take away coffees, nicely decorated place.
Served cold coffee and when i asked for it to be warmer was given a lecture about how their Baristers were trained etc (dont care just wanted a warm coffee) whilst being called 'love' by a girl 40 years my junior! most inappropriate.

Have been here a few times. Had the cheese and meat platter for lunch one day which was gorgeous. Had had the spelt bread toast (gluten free) a few times which is always a real treat. It's nice to get a little chocolate with coffee but it's not always gluten free :( ! The layered granola looks amazing and there is a good selection of cakes, including gluten free and they look amazing (yet to try one of these)

The atmosphere is relaxed, I have been with friends and also on my own, they sell a good selection of groceries and veg boxes but it isn't cheap, I personally couldn't afford to shop there very much.

The only recommendation would be to make the cappuccino stronger, today it was very weak, I don't remember thinking this last time so maybe today was just a blip. The cortardo looked much better so think I will try that next time !

It's really nice to have a place like this in roath/penylan. Keep up the good work !
