Cardiff is a really challenging course where keeping the ball straight is everything. The atmosphere is fantastic and members and guests get get a very warm welcome from the club pros.

“Millionaire Golf”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2013

A testing and challenging parkland golf course measuring 6146 yards with 6 Par 3's and 4 Par 5's with a SS 70 this course is all about keeping the ball on the fairway. The course was in great condition and looked well maintained - we were under no pressure with play, so able to enjoy the course fully and at times enjoy millionaire golf. The clubhouse looked very new and was managed by extremely attentive and friendly staff. The Golf shop was well stocked and carried everything that you would expect to see. We also stayed for lunch and a beer (try the Brains) which was most welcome. The course was only a few miles from the City Centre....so, whilst the girls shopped the boys played. It was a fun day out and a course that I would recommend, if in the area..

“Cardiff Golf Club”

This is my favourite course in South Wales, it is very much a parkland course, the fairways are comprehensively tree lined and relatively narrow, some of the holes are very picturesque. The course overall is very well tended and the greens are true. It is an excellent test no matter what your handicap. The guys in the pro shop are very helpful and the clubhouse is large and well appointed. I would thouroughly recommend a visit.

“Testing and interesting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

Some parkland courses can be quite easy but Cardiff GC bucks the trend. I am a single figure handicapper and found this a true test due to the woodland that its cut into. it makes your shots really interesting. When I played in September the course was in great condition. The clubhouse is also a great size and has a balcony over looking the course which was nice for a refreshing pint. On my list to play again.

“Fun, Challenging & Reasonable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

15 minutes from Cardiff town centre and 10 minutes from the M4, junction 30 this course is a worthy visit.

If you're looking for a round of golf that provides a good challenge, a bit of fun and a place to go as a small or larger group in South East Wales, this is the place for you !

On arrival, there is a welcoming Pro shop that can cater for everyone's needs. Step onto the 1st tee that has wonderful views of south east wales and a nice Par 4 start. There is a nice mix of challenging holes and in warmer weather extremely quick and true greens. This parkland mature course will not be a dissapointment for any level of golfer.

Off the course, there is a 'Spikes bar' as well as a more formal lounge area for visitors to enjoy a refreshing drink and a wide variety of food available from a good catering service.

All in all, it should be on your list of places to visit when in the Cardiff area !
