Description: Situated on The Friary in the bustling heart of Cardiff, Revolución de Cuba opened in March 2012. Go all Hemingway in the luxurious Havana Bar or take a seat for full table service. And, whether you're looking for a quiet coffee, dinner with friends or a chance to dance the night away to a fantastic live band, you're guaranteed that we'll be kicking it Cuban-style.

My work takes me to Cardiff a lot and this is the one place that is predictable. There's always a good crowd, decent service, nice atmosphere, creative dishes and if you're lucky enough you'll enjoy some nice live music. I can't wait to go back.

I love this place. Great food and great atmosphere. Cocktails are great, plus 241 between 5 and 7. They have live salsa bands on a wednesday night. so great if you like a dance or just want to watch. But for a night out on the weekend its very busy ( which i like ) so be prepared for a little bit of a wait at the bar. but if you reserve a table your can get table service. Really the best place to go on a night out in cardiff.

First found this place on a girls night out in Cardiff where the atmosphere for a saturday night out was amazing. Have also since visited on a Sunday lunchtime with the family where the quality of the food was amazing and the service was very good.

Visited last during the twixmas period on a Thursday night where we had the tapas 5 dishes for £20.00. Quality of food again was superior, service was great. Only negative is the price of the drinks - £6.50 for a cocktail served in a plastic glass! There was a live band which was good (although a bit too loud).

Would definatly reccommend for food.
