Owner description: Cefn Mably Farm Park is a huge all weather family farm attraction & softplay in one. Set in rolling countryside close between Cardiff and Newport. We offer a unique mixture of farm animals and softplay areas - the ideal place for action packed days out with the kids, birthday parties, schools and groups. The park is designed for families with toddlers to teens. The fun begins as you enter the indoor soft play barn where the children can let off steam and you can relax using the free wifi with a coffee and a slice of home made cake on a comfy leather couch. Once you and the kids are worn out from feeding the animals on the farm and playing on the electric go-carts and real diggers. Then on the way home you can visit our new Farm Shop and Butchery called "Moody Sow Farm Shop" and pick up some good old fashioned 28 day matured steak for your tea and some home cured, home smoked bacon for your breakfast!!!.

I thought out of all the play farms i had visited in England this was by far the best i had been to our first stop in Wales. So organised value for money and immaculately clean they even sold socks for the kids to wear for only £19 for a family of 4 worth every penny and more. The range of fresh food on sale was amazing not just chips and burgers all cooked on site they should come to other farms and show them how to do it. Would recommend this play farm to everyone who wants value for money with lovely animals for a fun day out

This is not a farm park, it is a children's indoor play area. I cannot dispute the play area as it it fantastic for kids to let off steam. However, there are not many animals here and the outdoor area is small. The animals are cooped up in small enclosures and cages which I consider to be unfair. Also, this place is so expensive! £9 for us to get in, then they charge you £2 for everything and the costs soon mount up. Also, the food is average and it is expensive too.

We will not be coming back here...

We travelled as a extended family group ages from five months to sixty years. There is plenty of space even at busy times. Our grand children particularly enjoyed the small animal petting area. They also enjoyed climbing on the real tractor on site. And going on the go carts (take £1 ) coins to operate these? There is also an indoor play area and cafe. A really nice day out.

We love this farm and it gets better all the time...lots of animals and children can handle some of the smaller ones-rabbits and guinea pigs. Horse ride and car ride available which is good but the extra cost for these activities is the reason for the 4 rather than 5 stars as entry is not cheap . Very clean and great so play for both toddlers and children so you could go in all weather. Food is pretty good and there is a fantastic farm shop selling lots of lovely treats as well as meats cheeses etc. loyalty card is also available which is great and membership is also an option.

Great place for toddlers and young children. Lots of animals to pet from Guinea pigs to horses. Diggers and tractors to play on, pony rides at an additional cost, outdoor play area and 2 Indoor play areas 1 for the under 5 and another for 5+ although we found children older than 5 in the toddler area, which we found annoying as the toddlers were getting pushed and knocked around and parents of the older kids didn't seem to care. Staff friendly although could do with monitoring the indoor play area as it would seem some parents didn't care. You can buy food their or take your own and either eat inside or outside. Would definitely go again and would recommend this as a place to visit.
