“The place for selection of foods from around the world but....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

Now having called in on a mid week dinner time at around 1.00 pm the place was packed and we had to wait around 20 minutes for a table. The service was good and the staff excellent and the food had such a great selection.

With such a variety of foods from around the world you are spoilt for choice in this buffet type restaurant. For only £ 10.00 per head it was good value for money. The quality of the food was OK not fine restaurant quality but average quality so if you fancy a selection and a buffet type of restaurant you cannot go far wrong than visit the Red Hot Buffett in Cardiff.

“Red Hot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

Visited Red Hot twice before ( Cardiff)

On both occasions it was very busy. Book a table to ensure you get a seat and don't have to wait around.

Food was good, lots of choice.

I think it's better to go for lunch as its cheaper and a little less cramped.

“All You Can Eat (of Cheap Frozen 'Iceland Style' Party Food)”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

Firstly during peak times it's £15, there's no cheaper 'lighter' alternative, it's £15 for gluttony or nothing.

Secondly it's not very sociable people constantly leaving the table to go fill up there plate.

Thirdly, despite all the best intentions you end up leaving here as bloated as a house but full of cheap frozen style buffet food.

In conclusion I would recommend going to a normal sit down restaurant where for £15 you can have a proper meal and leave feeling satisfied, not bloated on the 5 different types of cuisine you've just eaten.

“Everything needs a good wipe!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2013

I liked Red Hot buffet the first time I visited but the second time I was struck by how grubby the tables and cutlery seemed to be. The food is not bad at all overall.
