Rooms were spotless, staff were friendly and very helpful,Breakfast was plentiful and very nice.Bar stayed open until 2400 as we didn't get there until 2200 but all staff were only too pleased to help.Only slight problem was my sat nav sent me to a dead end in a housing estate with the postcode I was given but im certainly not marking them down for that and would not hesitate to stay there again .

We booked 2 rooms for one night as we were in Cardiff for a concert and this hotel is easy to find and has free parking. We arrived early so had to wait until 2pm to get into our rooms but the staff were very friendly and polite and asked us to enjoy the lounge while we wait. As promised the receptionist came to find us as soon as the rooms were ready.

Rooms were clean, with good sound proofing and the beds were comfortable. WIFI is available on site @ £3 per day which is very reasonable and the first 30 minutes are free if you don't want to subscribe for the whole day.

There is no restaurant chain next to this hotel but it does have an on site restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Despite breakfast being buffet style it was very good indeed. I think the staff were possibly the friendliest I have experienced at a Premier Inn and we would definitely use this again should the need arise.

Room Tip: Room tip: There is a room on the lower ground floor which has a very poor phone reception but is qui...

Stayed at the Premier Inn Cardiff North on the 3rd June 2013. The staff were polite, efficient and friendly. Decided after a long days shopping in Cardiff to stay in the hotel for our evening meal. The bar staff were fun and friendly. The food was tasty and good value and the bottle of Pinot Grigio Blush we washed it down with wasn't bad either! Room was clean and bed delivered the promised "great night's sleep". Breakfast was well organised , plentiful and good quality. Would definitely stay here again.

A word of warning - a friend who decided to stay at the nearby Campanile (or Camp-and-hell) as she christened it didn't have quite the same experience!

We had booked in at a very expensive hotel but left due to our room being over the top of the wedding reception! We drove out of Cardiff for 10 mins and saw signs to this premier inn. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful even though we hadn't booked in advance and we
It was late. Room was comfortable, clean and above all quiet! We had a much needed good night's rest and the next morning breakfast was great. Again staff really helpful and friendly. Would stay there again. No problem parking and no extra charges for doing so!

Stayed at this hotel for the first time, having stayed at the Premier Inn in Roath previously. This doesn't get full marks only because the one at Roath is in my view slightly better. The rooms here were perfectly good but not as big, same comment for the tv. Otherwise the staff were excellent and friendly, only small negative was not being given the code for getting out of the car park. Breakfast was very good value and you can eat as much as you want. Overall I would be very happy to stay here again but I think the one at Roath edges it.

I Stayed at the Premier Inn, Cardiff North as part of a package as a stag weekend. Although a few miles outside the city centre it was only a 10 minute taxi ride.. I was very impressed with the spaciousness of the whole property. First impression was that the car park was huge and you can keep your vehicle out of the way of the high volume traffic near the lobby if you want to .
It is located in a lovely wooded setting. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious and spotless with tea and coffee facilities. As for the bed and pillows, WOW!! They were so good and I see why a good night's sleep is guaranteed, much better than at home. The floors were so thick that despite the effort of young children on the floor above running up and down, it was barely audible.
The Breakfast was all you can eat for £8 odd (which I opted for ) or less if you take the continental option, it was also excellent with an extensive choice , all fresh and delicious. The lady on the counter even managed to get a table for 8 of us very quickly even at peak breakfast time.
This hotel reminded me very much of stays in Hotels in the USA, which are mostly second to none in service and cleanliness.
I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in South Wales. An overnight or a week, you wont be disappointed.

I stayed at this hotel on May 31st I must say the service from all the satff was amazing. A young lad by the name of Drew was so friendly, approachable and couldn't do enough for guests. He really ensured everyone was happy with the service the hotel was providing. The rest of the team were also very friendly and pleasant. I would most definately stay here again. We had a great stay!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Oops sorry no fitness centre but i couldn't delete it.
