Booked one night when traveled to Cardiff for the football - typical Premier Inn, clean, tidy, you know exactly what to expect, they are mostly the same. However customer service was 'First Class', we were running late after the evening games and I had found out the bar closes at 11.00pm. The taxi firm we had booked to get back there was running late, so they phoned ahead and when we got back 2 pints of bitter were on the bar for us - Now that is service!

Have stayed at Premier Inns many times, and this one quite a few times. They are usually predictable in terms of facilities, quality etc. If you can grab one of their cut price deals then they are a great bargain.
The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The room overlooked a very busy road but there was minimal road noise in the room. Had it been hot weather needing the window open it would have been a different matter! There is air conditioning but we tried it and it was very noisy - certainly too noisy to sleep through. The only complaint was the mattress was, as always, very hard. This seems to be standard across all Premier Inns. I know it is a matter of personal taste, but even my husband, who likes a very firm mattress, felt these mattresses were rock hard. I now travel with a topper when I know I'll be staying at a PI. Yes I know they have a 'Good Night guarantee' but I would feel guilty about invoking it every time I stay there!
There was little noise from other guests.
The staff were professional and friendly.
The parking was fine.
Breakfast was fantastic- if you treat it as your main meal of the day then it's a cheap way of eating out!
Didn't eat here - have had mixed experiences of eating at PIs or attached restaurants. If you want to grab a snadwich or some salad there's a Waitrose just a minute up the road (turn right out of Premier Inn, and it's a little way along on the right).

Cheery hotel staff - professional and polite - noticed both receiption, bar and breakfast staff addressing frequent clients by name - Mr.... X [not familiar] Good proximaty to Cardiff and motorway. Quiet. Clean comfortable rooms. Good relaxing bar area with pool/snooker table. Large restaurant/breakfast area - good cooked breakfast with choice of hot or cold dishes. Although I was with family I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel as a lone woman - it feels comfortable.

Used this Premier Inn whilst attending an exhibition at the National Indoor Athletics Centre, Cardiff . It offered accommodation near to the venue and provided excellent accommodation with friendly staff and a reasonable on-site restaurant for evening meal and breakfast. The accommodation was booked in advance on saver deal and represented good value for money. Overall the consistency of service and facilities I expect to find in a Premier Inn. No frills but good value.

My fiancee and I have always called this hotel our 'home away from home' ~ the staff are so friendly, and the hotel itself has a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

We booked in for our usual monthly 'getaway', and I happened to mention we were getting engaged that weekend..oops!! Saturday was the usual hive of activity, and when we came down to the restaurant for dinner, our table was festooned with balloons, glasses and confetti!!

So here's a big shout out for everyone, but especially Kelly and Karen for going the extra mile with everything, and for Suzanne behind the bar for remembering what's in a blue moon!!

Staff were friendly and very welcoming, which made our stay more enjoyable. Room was exactly as in the TV adverts. Only small thing, would have liked a de-cafe choice in tea and coffee selection in room.
