Stayed here for the Wales France 6 Nations wekend on arrival was greeted very courteously by Kieth one of the partners and promtly signed in etc
however my room was right at the top of the house not good with arthritis in hips and the bathroom was back down 3 flights of stairs as was toilet !!!!! and i dont think room 18 gets used very often wallpaper peeling around window and cobwebs Dracula would have been proud of but bed was comfy tv and kettle all functioned ok and breakfast well id heard that it was good and i was not dissappointed
the decor is very much 1900s in keeping with the property just needs a bit of tlc here and there little things like put a toilet roll holder on the wall instead of just leaving rolls on shelf or on top of cistern overall it was ok as ok goes oh and is ideally situated close to central cardiff

Room Tip: do not have 16 17 or 18 as they are the attic rooms

Had an excellent stay, arrived Friday evening with a very friendly welcome from Keith, left Sunday morning. Really enjoyed my stay there nice room and a comfortable bed, but the best thing has to be the wonderful breakfast it's presentation and taste is something to be experienced. Both Keith and Norman work hard at delivering a first class service for a very acceptable price, the Hotel is within a short walk for the Swalec stadium where my meeting took place and also for the millenium stadium of the city centre. Thank you Keith and Norman.

It is the second time we stayed in Courtfield Hotel. Keith is one of the warmest hosts we've ever met. His breakfast is excellent, his rooms are tidy, spacious and clean. Just 10 minutes for us to visit the city center.

We love the place much, and everything is value for money.

We had a wonderful time in Cardiff, and were very pleased to be staying at the Courtfield Hotel. Keith and Norman, the proprietors, couldn't have been nicer. The room was spacious, lovely and clean, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the city center. Breakfasts were delicious and made to order. We felt very much at home, and would gladly stay at the Courtfield again if we have the good fortune to visit Cardiff again, which we hope to do some day.
