Felt I should make an effort and write a quick review after enjoying the best meal I (and my wife) have ever had. Chose the taster menu with accompanying wines and was blown away with the taste, presentation and service. May take a while to save up for a return visit ............... but there will be a return visit.

I have now eaten here a number of times for business lunches and evening dinners over the last two years. The food is exquisite with local produce used extensively by a very talented chef. Waiting staff are incredibly attentive and service is prompt and efficient. The menu regularly changes and it's limited size testimony to the freshly prepared nature of every dish. They are very knowledgeable on the best wines to go with the meal and if you feel like cocktails later on downstairs, I can highly recommend it.

The price is a little more than at other restaurants, but the quality elevated the experience and actually quite good value for money considering. The only downside is that it has been quite during the most recent visit and lacked atmosphere. I'll be back though!

my daughter had her wedding reception on 18/12/11. The reception was second to none. from the welcome in the cocktail lounge to the wedding dinner was all exceptional, there was a huge christmas tree on top of the stairs that was just beautiful and perfect to catch a perfect photograph, we as a family would highly recommend the park house as a wedding venue and a big thanks to claire who helps to plan and organise the wedding..it was magical

Situated in a William Burges inspired building in the city centre.

I like this place as whilst the menu is not extensive it does mean that what is presented is done well with good use of local produce. My scallops were delicious and I was envious of my friends Buttermilk Ice-cream with Honeycomb. An interesting wine list with some new modern wines on the block. Staff attentive but not fussy. We liked it so much we have booked again for next week.
