Our family, including a 10 and 14 year old, went on the Gower Explorer tour. We went to the Swansea National Waterfront Museum, walking along the coast from Langland Bay to Caswell Bay, by Worm's Head in Rhossili Bay, and to King Arthur's Stone at Cefn Bryn. Jan, the tour guide was very friendly and informative. The sights were breathtaking! Our only complaint is that we didn't have more time to explore Worm's Head.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

I am glad to learn that you enjoyed the Gower Explorer tour and the stops along the route.

Regarding your comment of 2 hours stay at Rhossili was not sufficient. I can understand why you wanted to stay longer it is a stunning location, however time management is important, especially when passengers are leaving Cardiff for another destination.

Once again, thank you for booking the tour and a pleasure to meet you and your family.

Jan and John offer four day tours of different bits of Wales. We only had time for three of them. They have a small bus and are often fully booked, so you should reserve in advance. That's the only draw back, because they can't control the weather. Jan is principal guide and has a vast knowledge of the history, and architecture of the landmarks we visited. She also had great suggestions for lunch spots on the trips. Look at the itineraries, see what intersects you most, and fit in as many as you have time for. It will greatly enrich your time in Cardiff.

We were only staying in Cardiff for 2 days and we wanted to make the best of our trip. So we decided to book a tour so we can see as much as possible from Wales. Booking the tour with Where When Wales was definitely best decision!
Our tour guides John and Jan were brilliant. They did everything to make us feel welcomed.
The tour covers a lot. We loved the Caerphilly Castle and Brecon Beacons most. Both Jan and John have an excellent knowledge about Wales and we loved their sense of humour. They made the day fly by! We wish we had more time in Cardiff but we will definitely come back and book more tours.
Thank you so much Jan and John for a brilliant trip!

We went on the Wye Valley tour with Jan and John. It was amazing! Top marks for value for your money and excellent customer service! The tour included the beautiful Wye valley, stops at the Roman Baths, Tintern Abbey and Chepstow castle. The added bonus was that our tour guide, Jan, knew so much about the history of these places. We had ample time to explore and also enjoy a wonderful lunch at the restaurant at Tintern. If I have the opportunity to return to Wales in the future, I will definitely book more WhereWhenWales tours!

I absolutely had a great time, they made my husband and I (traveling for our honeymoon) feel very welcome and went out of their way to make it special for us. Jan pointed out romantic spots and traditions to make sure we didn't miss a single photo op and was very wonderful. We are actually considering touring again with them once more before we leave back home to the U.S.! Thanks and highly recommend!
