Considering I live here on the Bay then I am obviously going to say I love it. But I really do. I have spent the last 2.5 years here and I find it a delightful place to live with lots of interesting places to visit.

Good place when there is a nice sunshine, plenty of options for a nice boat ride or adventurous speed boats and lots of eateries around

The Cardiff bay is a so beautiful place and the Mermaid Quey is in the right heart of the fantastic bay. Walking along the bay is so relaxing and refreshing with the breezing sea air. The full circle is about six miles. You can take a boat back in a tiring day from the another end opposite the Mermaid Quey. There is a bike centre in the Mermaid Quay, tourist can rent a bike. The Mermaid Quey car park is ticketless car park, you drive in then pay by cash or card before leaving. It costs £7 for about 5 hours, not bad considering the Cardiff bay is one of the most popular tourist attractions.

Had a lovely couple of hours here. Had a meander along the boardwalk and sat on a sunny bench. Not crowded but nice atmosphere. Lots of venues for food etc. We had a coffee. Visit if you’re down Cardiff way.
