It is hard to think that 20 years ago, Cardiff Bay was a sea of mud and not popular. There was little new development. Now it is a great mix of flats, offices, shops and restaurants. There is plenty to do, including water sports, heritage centre, or just for a walk and drink.

Lots of good pubs, clubs and bars. Loads of places to eat from burger bars to high quality restaurants. Gets very crowded in the evening due to a high volume of uni students.
