Cardiff Bay is perfect for a family day with so much to see and do. The Dr Who Experience is a worthy of 2-3hrs of your day even for a non-follower.

Over the past few years rgeneration to the Cardiff Bay and made it a truely splendid place to spend an afternoon/evening. There is loads of places to eat which have stunning views over the bay, and the promenade provides a lovely walk to walk off those unwanted dessert calories!!

This was our first visit to Cardiff Bay and we were very impressed. It was only a flying visit on our way home to London but we loved the architectural mix, the views, the variety of things to do, the great restaurants. If we had more time we would have done a boat trip, visited the Dr Who Experience & gone to a show at the Millennium Centre. We had to content our selves with visiting the National Assembly, very interesting, a quick visit to the Millennium Centre, a stroll around and a lovely lunch.

We loved Cardiff Bay, had no idea what to expect before we arrived but were blown away. The whole area is lovely, we spent an evening just strolling and soaking up the atmosphere. There are lots of bars and restaurants, we felt spoilt for choice. Most have outdoor seating with views over the water and all were relaxed but buzzing. After dinner we carried on to have a look at the Dr Who building and came upon a light ship and a lovely Norwegian church on the way. The views back from here at sunset were gorgeous. We also found the Welsh senate building and the Millennium Centre, again spectacular at night. We loved this part of Cardiff and will be back.
