This place is absolutely fab. Whether your from Wales or visiting the heritage park offers a real insight into how the welsh valleys have been shaped into their current existence, the forgotten value of the coal industry and the life of valleys folk. Food and shops there too.

what a way to spend an hour or two well worth the £3.50
the tour guide was great and so informative to see how miners worked throughout the years . the dangers the equipment and workers from children women and grown men. going in the cage was an experince i couldn't imagine 25 miners in it .
the cafe was lovely wasnt to expensive and food was okay i wish it wasnt raining so couldnt see much from the cafe someone said ther were some lovely views
the shop and cafe sold locally made produce
not for the disabled or children in wheel chairs / puschairs or the infirm as there is about an hour walking
