Went on Saturday night with my wife. The interior of the restaurant is nice and not tacky. We had to wait an hour to get served, however the waiter did warn us that it would take a while and was very apologetic and we had a drink and some extremely nice large green olives. As it was a busy Saturday night I think this was reasonable. I had a very nice thin and crispy pizza and my wife gnocchi with homemade pesto. She said it was nicest gnocchi she had ever had and extremely light (for a potato dumpling!).
The service was friendly, efficient and 'suitably' Italian.
My only issue is with the price. Whilst this is undoubtedly a nice restaurant and a cut above many Italian restaurants, it really is fine dining prices. However there are often vouchers online, sadly none available last night, offering 40 pounds of food for 16 pounds etc. Personally I'd rather they just offered slightly better value in the restaurant and let the food and reviews do the talking.
