Had lunch at the pearl of the orient for the second time the last visit being over one year ago.

Took up an online offer to eat three courses from their lunchtime menu.

The quality of the food and the service was equally as good as my last visit.

The choices was sufficient for anyone's palate and the portions were more than adequate.

We were not rushed so were able to catch up with our friends over this leisurely meal.

Although, the restaurant was quiet not many tables occupied the atmosphere was still good and relaxing the staff were very attentive and looked after all our whims.

Will certainly return again. Very enjoyable

Very nice restaurant in centre of Cardiff Bay - in fact, this has existed since the bay first took off over ten years ago and this is testament to the superb quality food that they serve.

Quite pricey in the evening but ideal lunchtime as you are able to savour the flavour and experience at a fraction of the cost: The lunchtime menu is around £12 per person for two courses which is great.

Tip - there are also deals available on KGB etc. which mean you can pay as little as £12 per couple! Amazing!

It is a normal restaurant but feels like a buffet restaurant.
It was nothing bad but not special either.
I'd say 'distinctly average'.
The prices are ok, and the service not bad, but equally, it lacks atmosphere

We (a group of 6) ate fairly early on a Saturday evening before a concert at the Millennium centre. Service was good (not excellent as we were kept waiting several times for drinks etc). The food was very good and we had a wide variety by ordering a set menu (for 5) plus a few extra dishes. Prices are not overly cheap here so expect to pay about £30 per head if you include a few drinks. The practice of adding (an optional) service charge in the overall total is very irritating and should be reconsidered.

We often go here after seeing something at the Millennium centre and are always more than happy with the food and the service. There is proper cooking here if you go off the main fixed price menus and give the chefs a treat in being able to cook something a bit different. Having said that the fixed price menus are good value and delicious.
