Friendly staff, welcoming day and night. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and all the necessary travelling equipment, like hairdryer and tea-making facilities. Good local facilities - all on hand and right next to the M4. No fuss - love it!

Premier Inns are a great places to stay, and the chain has a consistent level of service and rooms quality. What makes Bridgend Central stand out though is their friendly helpful staff. We visit family on a fairly regular basis in Bridgend and look nowhere else to stay but this hotel. Generally speaking with hotels you get what you pay for and this chain is not aimed at the luxury end of the market.....but I believe it is great value for money.

The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are really comfortable. Breakfast to suit most pockets and appetites. The cooked breakfast is made to order so it's always as much as you want and piping hot. If you are very hungry try the porridge, it's good as well.

But above all enjoy the friendly helpful staff. Last week they were all in pink supporting a cancer charity, and there was other storehouse type charity on display. But we felt under no pressure or obligation to chip in, it was all done in such a relaxed and fun way.

So well done Bridgend Central, hotels can be soulless places but your sense of community involvement and spirit of generosity is an example to us all.

Room Tip: Have stayed in rooms on both sides of this hotel and neither have been noisy.

I have family in Bridgend and have used this Premier Inn a number of times. I didnt think I need would need to write a review about Premier Inn as always took Premier Inn for granted and never had any problems with any that I have stayed at.

I must say though that Bridgend Central is brilliant. The room is just what you need, clean and comfortable (especially their lovely quilts and power shower). I must say that the staff here at Bridgend Central are excellent, they are helpful and make you feel very wellcome.

There is a pub/restaurant next door where we ate for our tea and is very nice. Breakfast we had in the Premier Inn itself and was also very tasty.

There is a sainsbury / shopping centre / odeon / KFC etc a couple of minutes walk, which is very handy.

Bridgend town centre is about 10 minutes drive away, we got a taxi one evening and it cost about £7.

A cousin of mine has stayed here before and on he last visit he stayed at the travel lodge as no rooms were available at the premier inn. He would definately not recommend the travel lodge as the premier inn was far more superior.

Thank you Bridgend Central and will be definately seeing you again. xxx

I just can't praise the staff enough for their helpful attitude.Nothing is too much trouble, the swapped my room when I mentioned the chap next door was getting up at 5.30 am and waking me. When I was moved they told me they would keep the room next door vacant so it wouldn't happen again. I took an electric toothbrush but there was no electric point in bathroom. The staff lent me an adaptor. I am sorry to say I accidentally took the adaptor they lent me, postie wanted £2.60 to return it so I'll be going back as soon as I can to return it in person! The rooms have everything you need. Pleased to see they had installed triple glazing since we were there last time. Looking forward to the time they put noise insulation materials on the walls, because they are thin.

Certainly one of the best Premier Inn's I have stayed in. Excellent staff ( without being over the top ) and plenty of them at Breakfast, so the service was prompt, polite and efficient.

The room looked as if it had recently been refurbished and was very clean and comfortable.

Can't really say much more other than that I would definitely return if looking for somewhere to stay in this area again and thanks to the staff for making this such an enjoyable visit..

Arriving to check in early i was pleasantly surprised that staff made extra efforts to make my room available ahead of time. The rooms were super clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Breakfast was outstanding with orders for cooked breakfast being taken within minutes. Every member of staff friendly, helpful and approachable. I would definitely not hesitate in recommending this site.

Room Tip: If possible avoid rooms in the lift area
