Whilst the fish is always perfectly acceptable the chips are undercooked and dry and we cannot justify paying the vastly overpriced menu.

I'm really surprised to read some of the previous reviews about this chip shop....yes the prices are high, but I honestly think you pay for what you get. The quality is always outstanding.
We visit here more or less every week and have never had a poor meal. The staff have never been rude to us and are always pleasant.
Don't be put off by previous reviews....give it a try.

This chip shop is very convenient to people on the Broadlands but is extortionate !! The fish n chips are nice but not worth the money. I'm told their prices are going up again in the New Year! Try Astons in town ( by the bus station) instead, they deliver to the Broadlands Estate so you don't even have to leave the comfort of your own home :))

First time I calles here it was a busy Saturday evening, waited about thirty minutes for the fish and chips which was cooked to order. It was worth the wait. On my last three visits, overcooked fish, the oil needs changing and chips are undercooked. I gave it a few chances in the vain hope my first visit wasn't a fluke. Sorry but overpriced badly run.
