Visited on a Saturday evening with family and friends. The restauraunt is small and has a lovely ambience. The service and menu choices were good. The starter of mushrooms stuffed with goats cheese was tasty as was the main of veal and the chips that came with the veal were 'real' and delicious however, the lemon dessert was awful and I (and my brother) returned it, I not only told the waiter of my reason but also left the comment on the feedback card. Basically it was just whipped cream served in a glass with some lemon zest sprinkled on the top (or at least that's what it looked and tasted like). As someone who regularly cooks 'from scratch' (including Italian recipies, which are amongst my favourites) I was taken aback by this offering. I received an apology for the dessert and asked if I'd like to pick something else but had been put off by the taste/texture of my original order.
