The place didn't shout nice even from entering the car park, the decor is fairly decent and the main reason this place was alright was the option of being able to choose your cut meat or fish, the service was fairly standard, the overall bill was pricey and frankly didn't warrant such a price.

Very pricey, especially the wine. Would have to be a special occasion only location for me. But seated very quickly. The staff are very attentative and friendly. The food was very good. An enjoyable experience. Would have to save up my money to go again.

Had a meal for our anniversary celebration last Friday. The place was lovely and busy so that atmosphere was great. The team were very attentive. The food quality is very good, all on display for you to chose from. It is pricey, but it a nice place for a special occasion.

3 of us went to El Prado one wet Thursday lunchtime. The place was not very full but there were several businessmen at lunch. From the simple but varied menu (mainly fresh fish and meat) all 3 of us chose the the scallops for starter. I chose the spiced redsnapper, my wife and her cousin both had the lamb steak.
For the starter we got 5 good sized and well cooked scallops - which for 6.95 is a good deal. My red snapper was really good, spicy but you could still taste the fish. The lamb steaks were succulent and tasty. All round good quality - a little pricey but worth it for the overall service, atmosphere and freshness of the food.
A minor quibble in that there was only chips or baked potato as accompaniments - no other veg at all. Perhaps there is more of that in the evening?
The service was very good

Went with my girlfriend on saturday. We go there now and then as a special treat. The food costs a little more than we usually pay but the quality is excellent. We didnt book but the staff were very helpful and sat us at a table straight away. Service was very prompt, there was no waiting at all. The owner came to see us later in the evening and asked how our night was which i thought was a nice touch. Will certainly go back
