I've been to Hen Glyn twice now - once in during a dark and wet autumn, and again during the very sunny tail end of spring. At both times of year, it was very special. Despite the wonderful scenery on your doorstep, it's can be difficult to leave the comfort behind, and I lost days to bird watching and sitting in the hot tub on my spring visit. It is equipped with a good kitchen and a large fridge, further removing the need to ever leave. My one warning would be around the stairs to the bedrooms - they are so steep (and an original feature, so cannot be replaced) that they potentially preclude the elderly or infirm from staying here.
