“Nice Food”

Nothing really fancy, but very nice, affordable and served with a friendly smile. Allowed us to take in our 2 small dogs and sit at the back. Can';t really fault them, would return if passing again. (Cash only).

“A very pleasant stop”
Reviewed May 8, 2014

Decided to stop off on the way through from West Wales following good reviews.

Travelling east on the A40 the frontage is well marked and there is a well situated pull-in away from the road. Greeted by the very friendly lady proprietor and ordered a pot of tea, coffee and light baguette.Well presented food in a very clean and spotless main room.

I understand from the lady they are relatively new to the area and business is building. We do hope they do well, they deserve to.I would have no reservations in pointing this one out to my friends who visit the area and my wife and I will save ourselves for that little bite there when we are next in the area

“Friendly service”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

Great service and good range of home made products. We were so tempted by the homemade jams :-) Visited the tea rooms two days in a row at the end of day to relax and recharge.

“Quirky”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

Dropped in twice on our weekend away last week just for drinks. The ladies were very friendly and the place was decorated in a homely style with homemade jams that they served with their scones, which you could also buy in jars separately. The cakes they served looked delicious too. We sat outside on our first stop which was great for the start of our break. A great place to stop and take a refreshment.

“Souless”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

I have popped into this place a few times now and really hope each time that more effort has been made... But no. The lady who runs it is lovely but there is nothing to buy... No cakes, no variety of coffee just some grit like instant. No atmosphere whatsoever. I really am surprised that this place received five stars... It's a totally wasted opportunity.
