“What a find!”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

A really rainy day in Wales was saved when we found this lovely tea room with the best hot chocolate ever. The shop is also a lifesaver. Very friendly owners and staff.

“Excellent end to a country walk.”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

What do you all want the most at the end of your walk..............precisely, somewhere warm and welcoming where you can relax, warm up and have some nice food. This café is child friendly, has the added benefit of the adjacent shop and Post Office, as is also only 20 seconds from the Canal towpath (beautiful walks).
And if its beer you want with your lunch the excellent Star Inn is only down the road!

“best place to stop on the canal”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

We chugged our way up the Mont and Brec canal and chugged our way down it and the best place to stop was definitely this little cafe. It is a only minute from the canal, well maybe two! The food is delicious and freshly made and good choice of menu and some yummy cakes too! . On the way up we had cake and coffee - the best on the trip - and on the return journey bacon and egg rolls and coffee. The staff are extremely friendly and so were the other diners.

“Great little cafe with a warm welcome”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

Before we started on our mountain bike ride, we stopped off at this lovely little cafe which is joined to the village Post Office.

We had the best cup of tea and homemade cookies we've had in a very long time. Lovely warm welcome and the menu looked really good for breakfast and lunch too. I particularly like the Scrambled eggs on toast with extra treat (never got to see what the treat was though!), There is outside seating as well as indoors. Everything was clean, tidy and the food was made with fresh ingredients.

It is situated just yards away from the canal and next door to the Mountain bike hire place. I would definitely recommend to anyone stopping off at Talybont.
