We booked last minute for one night as we wanted to ride the Brecon Beacons, all the staff were friendly and our room was clean and comfortable.
We had dinner there in the evening and the food was amazing, well worth a visit, breakfast was freshly cooked and was also amazing.

What a wonderful hotel! The staff are friendly and very accommodating, nothing is too much hassle. Very laid back atmosphere, you can't help but make friends with everyone! The room was large, comfy, well decorated and fitted to a lovely standard.
The food was absolutely top notch at such reasonable prices - we would have happily paid double for the quality we received, and it's not often you are served food of that quality in a proper quantity! Gastro pubs are more expensive, and nowhere near in the same league as this wonderful menu.
The orange and purple exterior holds no bearing on the stylish interior. We had such a lovely time and we barely left the hotel!
We will definitely be returning, and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Brecon.
Perfectly positioned for our few days walking in the Brecon Beacons! Warmly welcomed by the staff (a lovely family-run Inn) and locals who were great company at the bar in the evenings! Lovely home-cooked, locally sourced food at a range of prices - all delicious and filling! Big cooked breakfast to fuel you for the day! Comfortable rooms with hot shower and plenty of space! me and my other half truned up on the 2nd of feb .
when we got there we was meet by the host and showed us around and to are room.
the room was really nice and clean to stay in and over all i would rate it to anyone.
we also had some food there aswell and it was second to none even if you do not want to say here then you MUST try the food over all i would give the place and the hosts a 10/10.
We stayed at this pub for a few days and we will again when in the neighborhood! very friendly couple and son trying to do their very best to make you feel at home !
I am a keen cook myself and I have to say that the food in this pub was fantastic! very well cooked, nicely presented and cooked with love and care! Thank you ...it was delicious!
This family run pub is a great place to stay at when you want to walk in the Brecons or just for relaxation! It is not a noisy pub but very friendly and suitable for families and friends and really everyone who wants to enjoy a nice stay or evening or have a good diner!
We had great breakfast in the morning, good advise on how to spent the day (we already planned a few things of course but we did a few things they sugfgested also!)
Try to have a recently redocared room though...our bathroom was not really good but we forive them as all the rest was worth more than 5 stars!
