We stayed at this lovely Inn whilst we were taking part in the filming of a TV show about B&Bs which went a bit wrong... Our room was lovely, very comfortable, warm and welcoming. John and Val were great hosts, they went out of their way to make us feel at ease at a very difficult time for us - including allowing the TV crew to film some sequences at the Inn. Wish we could have tried your Steak and Ale pie..! Thank you both and we look forward to seeing you soon at our place.

Booked a superior double, which had an incredibly ( almost embarrasingly ) spacious bathroom - breakfast was excellent, and so the B&B package as advertised on-line was well worth the money. Off-season the bar/restaurant was quiet in the evening, so can't be sure how they'd cope with bigger numbers, but the food was excellent and well worth the Londonish Gastropub prices. All in all thoroughly recommended, you get what you pay for.

Charming, very old building in a very quiet little hamlet. They upgraded us as they ahd an empty superior sweet. Extremely welcoming patron, lovely breakfast and decent food in the restuarant. The inn is a little tired and could do with a deep clean but as we stayed there as a base to go walking we weren't exactly in our sunday best so it didn't bother us.

I'm assured by other half that the sausages and bacon were excellent, apaprently sourced from a local butcher. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a superior room. We saw the standard rooms while they were being cleaned and they seemed on...

We have never stayed at the hotel but when we are in Wales we frequently visit for an evening meal. The food is beautifully cooked and well presented. Unfortunately their steak and ale pie is so good that it makes it difficult to sample the other dishes.

On a rainy day in September I didn't think that this hotel looked much from the outside, but I booked in on the recommendation of some work colleagues. Inside there is a cosy bar, and separate dining area. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were all friendly. The thing that impressed me most was the food, which was absolutely superb. I would definitely return.

This was our second trip to this specific Hotel. We had unfinished business with Pen-y-fan! The last trip we had a room at the front overlooking the A40. The windows in this Old Hotel are....old... noise is a problem for me. This time however we had a room at the side and barely heard a thing except a very unusual sounding bird first thing - that was rather lovely!.

Friendly, helpful family run hotel offering great food and a decent real ale (I wouldn't choose a hotel for the beer but it certainly makes me happier when it's there!.)

Several people in the bar were repeat visitors which I think proves that this is a good hotel.

Unfortunately we had to leave too early for Breakfast as I had an appointment at Wembley for the Olympic footie but as you might expect with this place, the owner was happy to leave some things out so that we could help ourselves

The Hotel is old, a funny shape and has strange levelled floors....but that just adds to the charm of the place and with the attitude of the family running it - I love it

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper - ask for a room at the back.

Stayed for two nights over the Bank Holiday weekend and had a wonderful time. This B&B has lots of character and our room was very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and they really looked after us during our stay. The food was very nice indeed and the breakfast was especially good. One nice touch that I must share; we checked into the B&B an hour or so before the bar opened. I happened to mention that we’d had a rather long drive and that I was looking forward to a nice cold beer later in the bar – such was the service that the owner appeared two minutes later with a lovely cold pint of Old Speckled Hen, which I then enjoyed sprawled out on the rather comfy bed!

Room Tip: We had a superior room and liked having such a large bathroom.
