Description: A friendly family-run restaurant serving good quality home cooked food. Our cakes and desserts are all homemade on the premises. We serve food all day from 9am until 9pm, 7 days a week. Renowned for our cooked breakfasts, street snax and texmex menu after 6pm. Food sourced locally where possible. Beautiful views from our sunny terrace and plenty of parking.

I make occasional but regular trips from Devon to north Wales, and need a break of journey in this area. Discovered this cafe earlier in the year, and on that occasion (lunchtime) was very impressed. Making our regular trip again today, in an evening, we specifically planned to stop at this cafe and were all really looking forward to it - but were rather disappointed in the event.

There were lots of staff evident on duty, who were all smiley and friendly, but seemed to spend lots of time hanging round each other when I would have preferred them attending to us. We ordered two cafe lattes and two milk shakes for the four of us. The lattes arrived after 20 minutes and were sadly only lukewarm, whilst the milk shakes took a further 10 minutes - by which time the coffees were cold.

Food, when it arrived, was very nice - although the vege chilli with nachos to share ordered by daughter and her friend turned out to be a cold dish which wasn't quite what they expected.

Maybe we had unrealistic expectations, but if we did they were only based on our previous experience here. On this occasion, however, I'm afraid we left to continue our journey feeling somewhat disappointed.

Visited tonight with the whole family after parents had previously been and enjoyed. The atmosphere is lovely but the service received was extremely slow. Now dont get me wrong, i am prepared to wait for cooked food but ordering and even starter plate collection took ages. The food was enjoyed by most but my meal could have been hotter with less salad. Not bad though overall and a nice experience if you have a few hours to enjoy. Reasonable prices.

We've stopped at this cafe numerous times and have always enjoyed the cake and coffee so decided to try it one morning on one of our bike rides for breakfast! Very disappointing! Bread stale and one slice of bacon and one egg in a bacon and egg sandwich for almost £4!! We will certainly not be returning for breakfast anytime soon or recommending it to our many biker friends. Such a shame as the location and setting is just perfect so maybe worth taking a look at the value and quality of the breakfasts that you serve as its letting you down.

We stopped at the Honey Cafe in passing and decided to book a Tex Mex meal that evening. The food was lovely, served by friendly staff. The restaurant is eclectically decorated with a lovely array of paintings. Good value for money - although the chimichanga portion size was HUGE and far too much for me to eat, would easily do two people! Shame it was pouring down as it would have been nice to sit outside among the flowers and hanging baskets taking in the gorgeous views of the hills.

Whenever we are in the area we ALWAYS stop here for a meal or a coffee and teacake. A truly delightful café, amongst great Welsh scenery - great spot. The service is always excellent and the food great. I can highly recommend their all day breakfast. They serve a range of other informal meals - egg and chips, burger and chips, sandwiches, beans on toast, etc. Also great for teas, coffee, cake, etc. If it's a sunny day, you can't beat sitting outside with something to eat and drink. Highly recommended.
