“Good Lunch Stop”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

The Honey Cafe is a good lunch stop when out and about in the Brecon Beacons area, we often stop off here and enjoy our lunch. The food is of a high standard and I would say normal prices for main courses. The staff are always pleasant and give good service although the puddings at £4.95 are a little expensive. The all-day breakfast is good value as it includes a hot drink. There are outside tables if you like to sit out and enjoy the scenery.

“Excellent food, great value.”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We stopped off here after a day out and weren't disappointed. Sat outside to enjoy the views, the food was brilliant and was great value for money. Paid around £40 for drinks, starter, mains and (huge) desserts. Definitely recommended.

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Spent a really enjoyable evening, and so enjoyed the Tex Mex experience - delicious, authentic food served imaginatively. So much to choose from, which was difficult but will be a good reason for a return visit - very soon!
The service was commendable, friendly and very welcoming. This really is a hidden gem, that is clearly and rightly extremely popular.
Enjoyed the experience so much, we breakfasted here on another day during our trip! - again, wonderful and the full breakfast is highly recommended. A small but important thing - really, really hot coffee which stayed hot!

“Memorable evening meal”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

The Honey Cafe, a regular haunt of mine for daytime breakfasts and traditional meals, turned out to also be an atmospheric, lively TEX MEX venue on our evening visit.
I was impressed by the attentive, friendly waitress, who supported our selections.
The meals were well presented, very tasty and very generous.
We enjoyed a relaxing, happy eating experience. Thank you.

“Great all day breakfast”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Called in on the spur of the moment and were delighted to find an all day breakfast offering which included tea or coffee for the rather reasonable price of £6.20. Tea arrived in a pot with additional hot water which provided six cups of tea - bargain! Lovely hot food, well cooked and served on a hot plate (it makes such a difference). Good selection on menu including "small meals" so an adult with a small appetite will not waste food by having to try and eat an adult size portion. Friendly and reasonably quick service. Will definitely call again when passing that way.
