“Authentic Italy in Wales”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

A Delight to find such a quality Italian family restaurant hidden away in Brecon. Since moving to the area recently we have eaten at Roberto's on three occasions, and have never been disappointed either with the welcome, the attention from the staff, or the quality of the food. Apart from the expected familiar Italian selection, there are always specials available, and a great choice for vegetarians as well - not always the case in the area! Nice wine selection, great background music, lovely atmosphere & wonderful food - couldn't ask for more!

“Excellent food and service.”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

After visiting this restaurant with family in January, having excellent service and food we decided to book again for Valentine's Night. Although it was full it still had the same intimate feeling, service was good and as we were not in a rush, it didn't matter that the food took 30 minutes to arrive, it was worth the wait. I would recommend this cosy Restaurant to anyone, the owner is very friendly and takes time to talk to all the customers and make them feel special and welcoming. If you want to eat somewhere special with good food and service then look no further than here.

“wish we could have stayed longer”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

We had supper here on Wednesday on our way to the cinema, we told the host we only had an hour and he was fantastic, so obliging, we had 2 courses and were out in time! The food was very very good, the specials board was creative, the brushetta with mascapone, Sunblush tomatoes and smoked salmon was delicious. Proper Italian food from proper Italian people. We will definatley be going back soon when we are not in a rush so we can savour the meal properly. A real find!

“Very poor service”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

Been here many many times and always enjoyed it, but had very poor service on recent visit, even thought there was only a few diners; this may have had something to do with the owner being away. The food was very slow to come out, this could be as a result of the two chefs chatting away continuously in the kitchen which could be overheard by the few diners. Food not to its usual standard. The 10%, £5.00 service charge unreasonable. Very disappointing visit to what is a usually a very good place to eat! Hope the owner is back to sort it soon...

“NYE 2012”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

What a liitle gem of a traditional Italian restaurant tucked away behind the main street in Brecon.

Nine of us had booked a table on NYE. Inside was warm and cosy and we were given a warm welcome by mine host.

The 'specials' were tempting and the main menu had varied choices.

We all choose different things. All were superb.
Service was efficient and attentive. Good valvue for money.

I would highly recommend it.
