Priced modestly at £53 per night for a couple I was not expecting much. However the room was large, ensuite, clean and tidy with tea and coffee facilties. The decor was a little dated. No lift carry your cases,up stairs. Check in done by a very pleasant well mannered young woman. Breakfast was very good and other meals from a large typical pub type menu were of a good standard. Able to get parking all night on street outside the door although there is a public car park at the rear of the premise. A pleasant place to stay for a weekend.
