Greeted with a real log fire and a warm welcome from the landlord, we enjoyed a superb lunch chosen from the impressive menu, which offered ample choice. Under new management, this pub, which is fairly local for me, has been transformed into a very friendly and efficiently run establishment and I would be happy to recommend their food to anyone. Very good quality and value for money.

The food is noce and the staff are friendly. It gets very busy when there is footy on but it's a pub so to be expected.

Traditional charming pub with good cask ales and a traditional food menu. We had a two course golden great meal for £4.65 and coffee with this meal we only paid 50p extra. Service was relatively quick considering how busy it was and staff were friendly. Has a lovely rear garden area. Well worth a visit. :)

Meet up with my Mum during the lunch hour and have always had prompt service of good value food.
Car park out the back that costs a quid but if you eat in the pub and give them your pay and display ticket they refund it for you
