It was the first time the house had been opened for Winter. I think more information should be provided around the house, there were no obvious information boards and the staff seemed a little bit confused a s to what to tell us about the place.

we have visited Erddig a number of times. The gardens are good, but the real success of this house is that it has been pretty much left as it was when the NT took it over - there are few artificial lights and the kitchen is a gem, with its very old bottles of fruit and appliances previously used in the house

Beautiful and interesting historic house and gardens. An added point of interest is the emphasis on the servants' quarters. Frequently has interesting activities for children.

What a lovely place and polite people. We came to visit for the Christmas market and the house.Unfortunatly only the servants quarter of the house was open, but we still found it very interesting.
Will have to return next year to view the full house. The christmas market was excellent, with lots of different and unusual gifts to buy.A great day out.

Plenty to see and do here, especially if you like old houses. It is well set out and the gardens are great
