Thanks to Jim and Eryl for a lovely weekend again. We enjoyed our stay so much last year that we booked this year's weekend before we left. As soon as Jim opened the door to welcome us in on Friday evening we knew it would be just as lovely this year. I could gush about everything, but suffice to say there is nothing about this guest house, or it's owners, that will disappoint you. We had a full tour of the house, and have already booked our room again for 2014. Looking forward to enjoying a cheeky chilled glass of wine in the garden - oh, and the lovely fresh fruits for breakfast. (In addition to the full cooked breakfast and the pastries!)

Room Tip: One of the rooms upstairs has a little balcony if you like to sit out, but the room over the front d...

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of July. The rooms are immaculate and there is so much attention to detail. The beds are very comfy and breakfast each morning was delicious with a choice of a full Welsh, scrambled eggs & smoked salmon, smoked haddock & poached egg plus all of the usual breakfast delights. The hosts Jim & Eryl were fantastic they were both so welcoming and willing to chat about the local area, restaurants, bars and all of the other local attractions. Do not consider staying anywhere else if you are visiting Snowdonia.

We stayed for two nights and found the rooms to be beautifully decorated. Very neat, tidy and comfortable. Jim and Eryl were very accommodating with the lovely little touch of freshly baked treats each afternoon.

This was my first-time visit to the north of Wales, to join a friend trekking up Snowdon. We stayed two nights at Plas Coch and I seriously cannot rave enough about the location; the village and most of all - Plas Coch's owners, Jim and Eryl. For those who have not been to Llanberis, Snowdon or North Wales I would seriously recommend ‘Plas Coch B&B’ as your port of call for way introduction to the area and everything else, will be a bonus. The room was gorgeous and spacious; and looking out on to the hills from the bedroom was the epitome of 'a room with a view'. To look out until the last flicker of daylight has gone - the subtle colours and changing in contrast that even the camera's of today, struggle to truly capture. With an early start on Saturday, we were forearmed having had a wonderful full Welsh breakfast; given a flask filled with fresh coffee and with the hottest day of the year awaiting us, the challenge of Snowdon was considered as, taken. The Pyg track and heat certainly tested resolutions; but the true hidden gem of the weekend was my stay at Plas Coch. On Sunday after a quick detour to see Snowdon from the view of the lake we headed back to London. I will return but I wanted to say thank you so much to Jim and Eryl and Plas Coch for such an amazing weekend and on so many levels. All the absolute best, Helena.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the house are quieter (Coming from London however, please take into considerati...

What a wonderful stay we had at Plas Coch! I was looking for a B&B for my sister, my mum and I and when I came across Plas Coch on Tripadvisor I knew this was the place for us and I was 1000% right! We had the loveliest stay – the rooms are gorgeous and homely, with nice furnishings and soft carpets, the breakfast was fresh with good quality ingredients and lots of choice, but most importantly Eryl and Jim are some of the kindest and most thoughtful people you will ever meet. When Eryl offered to make my mum a cake for her birthday even before we arrived we already started to feel very special, and the special treatment continued when we got there, with nice touches like sweet treats to help yourself to in the hallway, the lending of some individual flasks so we could take some much needed tea on our walk up snowdon and some very helpful advice about how best to conquer the mount. On a rainy day we also felt really comfy and at home just relaxing in the living area, we were made to feel very much at home. It was a very special time for me, my sister and my mum in spending time together before my sister moves abroad and it was made all the more special by Jim, Eryl and Plas Coch - so thank you so so much for giving us a time we will always treasure. All the best, Laura, Demeza & Jane.

Just returned from our weekend trip to snowdon , we stayed two night at the plas coch , could only get the smallest room they had to offer , but a perfectly sized room in no way small , very clean and well presented. They have beautiful garden to sit in after a long old day climbing mountains !
Had cooked breakfast both days very lovely , also cereals , toast , fruit and pastries if you don't fancy anything cooked! Both Jim and Erryl are lovely people and can't do enough for you, when we was leaving both of them was busy with breakfast but still come to the door to see us off , great weekend would defiantly recommend to any1 , will be going back soon

This guest house is almost as impressive as the hosts. It is impeccably clean. It has been fitted out with care and consideration. Rooms are delightful. Beds sumptuous. The location is ideal. The food is delicious & plentiful. Home baking is left out for your return from a walk or arduous day in the mountains. Our two boys were treated to fuss, treats and generally accepted as the young residents they are. (Too many guest houses are Victorian in their acceptance of children!)
Erryl & Jim are conscientious and kind. It is apparent that their interest in every visitor is as genuine and keen as their love of their guest house.
Cannot recommend Plas Coch enough!

Room Tip: Ask Jim or Erryl - They are most accommodating.
