I was impressed with this hotel. We had two singles 236 & 237. The rooms were modern clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the view from the conservatory is amazing. Staff were friendly and service at breakfast was efficient. I would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a 2 nights all inclusive break which was fantastic value for the money. We were put in a huge room on the second floor with a great view of the mountains from our four-poster bed. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very efficient. We enjoyed a great cooked breakfast and dinner with a very drinkable house Shiraz. The only very minor criticism is the Walls are not very sound proof and although our fist night was very quiet, we had rather noisy neighbours on the second. This is a great base from which to explore Snowdonia.

We found this hotel on some search engine for a cheap and cheerful short break and couldn't believe the price. We actually thought we had got not wrong cause this came in at hostel prices for a nice double room in a grand hotel in stunning surroundings! £93 for 3 nights including a Cooked brekkie. If you are staying in Llamberis to do walking, climbing etc but also want some hotel comforts this place is great, stones throw away from the mountain railway and it even has a castle in the grounds. Perfect stay

Very good value, with a clean and comfortable room. Staff were helpful and the location was very good for exploring the National Park. We thought we had breakfast included but found we had to pay extra for the cooked option (which was not stated at time of booking).

This hotel is the perfect location if you're climbing Snowdon, being the other side of the road to the railway which goes up Snowdon, or a 5minute walk away from the beginning of one of the routes.
The entrance to the hotel isn't obvious. I drove past the entrance twice. It is an old building, and with a little TLC, the entrance hall could be rather impressive, which unfortunately at the moment it isn't.
We stayed in the older side of the hotel, where it is obvious they have attempted to update, but unfortunately their are bits of the room which could be better. The window in our particular room was stuck shut, which meant we couldn't get any fresh air. This then meant we didn't sleep too well as the room was too hot, even with the heating off. The cleaning also wasn't at it's best, with bits on the floor and dust everywhere, but the bathroom was spotless. The sound proofing in the rooms is also non-existent. We heard every movement outside the room. The bar also felt like a local pub, which meant we didn't stay long.
Saying all of this, I can't fault the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was adequate for what we needed.
