I had been here in the past and enjoyed it but this last time not so much. The place looks a bit tatty and the toppings on the pizzas were stingy.

I read about the pizza and pint so visited on a week night off-season. It soon became very busy with a few tourists and locals chatting about hiking and climbing. The atmosphere of the place is probably a bit like marmite - if you like places with character and a few quirks then you'll love it. 70s decor and furniture gives the place a welcoming, warm feel and the staff, while busy, were friendly. You decide the exact topping of your pizza... and add up your bill total on a little paper menu before handing it over. The pizzas are very tasty - thin and perfectly cooked. If only more places had such great character!

all i can say is this hotel is an amazing place to stay warm inviting and the owners well they are very very nice always willing to help especially russell. amazing food pizza and a pint is the best idea ever shame i had to stay for few more beers but well worth it.

Known to the locals as Pizza & Pint, this place came recommended by friends who had stayed before. They serve amazing hand thrown thin crust Pizzas and you have an amazing amount of toppings to choose from. We ate on two nights of our stay, the second time we tried the steak, which was really well cooked and served with chips and a large side salad, the home made pies looked good too. To complete our evening the owners were happy to let us take night caps and hot chocolates up to our rooms. Nothing was too much trouble. Will be staying again.
