“Best B&B in the UK !!”

We stayed at Tyn y Fron in mid september on one of the few sunny weekends of the year. It is without doubt the nicest B&B I have ever stayed in.

The room was immaculate and very comfortable and the tea / coffee facilites well stocked.

There was a good choice on the breakfast menu and the food was very nicely prepared. The view from the breakfast room is stunning!

The owner was very welcoming and knowledgable about the area.

The B&B is located a short walk (about 5mins) from the town centre which means you can enjoy all the towns amenities but avoid the hustle and bustle too.

I will certainly try and book into Tyn y Fron next time I visit the area.

We have just returned from a 4 days stay at Tyn y Fron Bed and Breakfast in Betws y Coed, Snowdonia National Park.

The proprieter, Lesley Porter, was very welcoming and was only too happy to advise on our plans for sightseeing. Our room was very comfortable and warm with the addition of tea and coffee making facilities and lovely chocolates and came with a shower and toilet although it is possible to have a room with a bath if booked sufficiently in advance. The Breakfast was first class which not only consisted of a full cooked breakfast but also a wide selection of cereals, orange etc and even slices of local Welsh breads and scones with home made jam.

The proprieter's website was first class providing full information on places to visit and restaurants to try out.

A really lovely stay - I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B.

On a recent tour of Wales (I hail from Guernsey) I happened to chance upon this delightful bed and breakfast where I intended only to stay for one night. However, so impressed was I with the decor, surrounding, comfort and quality of my room, quality of the food and hospitality shown by Lesley, I was persuaded to spend 3 nights there. The surroundings are exquisite and are Wales' best kept secret. I am looking forward to when I can return. I'd recommend this b & b to anyone.

My fiance and I stayed at this B&B while spending a week in Snowdonia in September 2008. It was an excellent experience: the location is perfect as a base for exploring the mountains, the room we had was cosy and well-furnished, the morning breakfast was superb (and generously sized!), and our hostess was very helpful - she gave us useful advice, especially about where to eat, and was very accommodating as to our needs. There is also a lovely dog.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Full of character, outstanding surroundings, peaceful grounds, incredible views and an awesome breakfast to boot! The bedrooms are wonderfully decorated and beds comfier than at home. A perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside or for just complete luxurious relaxation. Very warm, welcoming proprietor and her wee 3-legged dog! Breakfast is worth writing a whole review on by itself as we'd have willingly driven for hours just for that! Best B & B we've ever stayed in and will definitely be going back.

After arriving in a very busy Betws-Y-Coed without having a hotel booked, we found ourselves at the door of the Tyn-Y-Fron B&B. Lesley (the Proprietor) gave us a warm welcome to her house and informed us that she had one double room still available. This was great news, however we also required a twin room as well for the two teenage children. Lesley immediately picked up her telephone and called a number of other B&B’s in the vicinity to try and help us out. After a few calls, she had good news, one found just down the road. Lesley is a very helpful and friendly lady, who will make your stay here as comfortable as possible.
The Tyn-Y-Fron is a very clean and quiet B&B with some stunning views from the bedrooms of the surrounding area. The breakfast too was extremely tasty and the cottage has its own private car park at the back for the guests.
With only 2 minutes drive to the centre of Betws-Y-Coed, the Tyn-Y-Fron makes an ideal place to stay when visiting this beautiful area of North Wales.
