I had booked a 3 night stay for my partner and I over the New Year's period following reading reviews here on TripAdvisor. We stayed in the large Valley View suite which is on the ground floor. For a B&B the room is very large, with a huge window giving stunning views across the valley and a private dining area where one can take breakfast, there is a real sense of privacy and grandeur about it. The bed is a super-king and is very comfortable indeed. The bathroom is very modern and very clean. Breakfast choice is good ranging from cooked Welsh breakfast, porridge with whiskey and general cereal and toast. It was all of a very good standard. Access into Betws Y Coed is very easy indeed either by car or by foot. A really fantastic stay all in all.

I booked two nights at Lesley's and Mike's B&B on the advice of a colleague. I have to say My partner and I weren't disappointed.
Easily found and so close to Snowden, it was perfect.
The room we chose had the most fantastic view of the valley.
Kizzy who looked after us during our saty could not have been more gracious, helpful or polite.
our whole stay was relaxing and just what was needed after a busy week at work. The breakfast was first class, the room was amazing. the bed so comfortable and luxurious.
I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for that little extra..... we will certainly be returning.
Thankyou again Mike and Lesley but especially Kizzy and her family.

Booked room 4 as a treat for my birthday this weekend. The room is lovely with a beautiful view. Loved having the little table in our room and having breakfast served there. I am not a fan of breakfasts at b n bs always a but awkward so this was a lovely treat. The room had all the little finishing touches you would expect of a 5 *. Wine glasses, bottle opener, chocolates, large DVD (however our room even though the most expensive) did not have a DVD player. This would have been nice. The room was clean and bathroom beautiful. Only little niggle was that we were only given 1 bath towel and when our room was cleaned the first morning the housekeeper just put back the dirty towel so we were left with one dirty towel over s two night stay.

However Lesley and mike were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this place! Also ate a the local pub Ty gwyn which was amazing, definitely recommend!

Room Tip: Room 4is beautiful, worth the little extra!

I would recommend Tyn-Y-Fron to anyone looking to stay in Betws. i stayed here in october with my girlfriend. at the door we had a very warm welsh welcome, and showed to our room. the whole hotel was lovely and clean with a mix of traditional and modern styling. The room had a breathtaking view and had a big comfy 4 poster bed. we were recomended resturants to eat at in town at night and the breakfast provided in the B&B was probably the best breakfast ive ever had! and they also catered to my vegan girlfriend! we also purchased the option for packed lunches with were a reasonable price and great for days out in the area specifically we went mountain biking and the lunches were great eaten on the edge of nearby lake elsi. all round great visit great food great hospiality very clean and comfy bed and beautiful view... MUST VISIT!!!

Would thoroughly recommend staying here, Mike and Lesley are the perfect hosts. There is nothing you could possibly fault, just wish Wales was nearer to Dorset as would love to come more often as such a beautiful area for walkers and cyclists and with a fab b & b to return to each night and a wonderful big scrumptious breakfast what more could want.
