We booked our stay at short notice and found Mike and Lesley really friendly and helpful.
Ideally located just a short pleasant walk from the town.
We will definitely be back.
Mike also cooked us a lovely Welsh breakfast.
Stayed in the Valley View again and it was beautiful. 4 nights relaxing in the recliner armchairs looking out of the very large window at the sunset. Lovely large, comfortable bed, fabulous hosts, Lesley and Mike, Breakfast in our room which was lovely. They even left us a bottle of wine for our Anniversary, what a lovely thought. Fantastic hosts as always. This was our fourth visit to Tyn-y-fron. Always special as such a lovely place to stay, Would recommend to anyone and once you have been once you will always go back again. We stayed here for 2 nights with our 20 month old little boy. We had read the trip advisor reviews prior to booking & we were not disappointed! A warm & welcoming arrival thanks to Mike who helped us with our many bags etc. Our room was contemporary & very tastefully decorated with beautiful hand finished cushions, head board & Blind. Our en-suite bathroom was spotlessly clean & spacious with a quality finish. Breakfast was delicious ... We all had a full Welsh breakfast the first day & our little boy was very well catered for. Lesley took the trouble to have a chat with us about our plans for the day & suggested some lovely things for us to do. All in all a fantastic stay, nothing was too much trouble, will definitely be returning for a 2nd visit!
We stayed for two nights to walk up Snowdon and have a look around the local village of Betws y Coed. Very friendly and helpful owners who went out of their way to help you. Clean, nicely finished rooms in a beautiful setting. Very relaxing, homely and welcoming, would recommend to anyone :)
After looking through Trip Advisor we booked for 5 nights in this wonderful guest house, 4 nights in the Mountain Sunset Suite and 1 night in the Valley View Suite. Thank you to all the people who write reviews in Trip Advisor it was an excellent choice. Our rooms were spacious, very well appointed, with a very comfortable large double bed in each room and after a good night’s sleep it was all followed by a good breakfast. Then the icing on the cake Lesley, one of the owners, should be working for the local Tourist Office her local knowledge was very helpful in making our short visit to Wales so enjoyable from recommending restaurants etc. to the local attractions and walks. Finally in my opinion it’s the little things which make a good Hotel/B&B stand out from the rest. In this case it was the torches so kindly provided to use on our way walking back along the unlit footpath following our evening meals. Maybe not the cheapest B&B but if you have read any of my previous reviews you will know my thoughts are that if you are prepared to pay a little bit more then you generally get a lot more.
Mike & Lesley are the perfect hosts and made our stay a happy one. We loved the room and all the beautiful walks and scenery surrounding Tyn Y Fron B & B. If we return to Wales we will be knocking on your door again. Thank you Deb & Martin (Australia).
