“Very comfy/friendly stay”
Reviewed March 30, 2014 via mobile

We stayed two nights, top floor, comfy, clean rooms.
Breakfast is fab with great local products, sausages massive!
Hotel location great, not far to walk.
Handy parking.
Was very helpful being allowed to book in early (with prior permission)
Friendly, approachable couple, would definitely stay again.

Hi Guys – come in! Sarah’s friendly welcome and cheery smile set the tone for our visit to Bryn Llewelyn. We had a warm and cosy room at the top of the house with wonderfully comfortable beds. We relaxed in the well-appointed communal sitting room, but our own room had two chairs and a small table when we wished to be on our own. Ben’s breakfast was fantastic, with bacon and sausage that were locally sourced, eggs with deep golden yolks, and fresh mushrooms. Bryn Llewelyn is only a couple of minutes’ walk from the village centre, with several places to eat and drink, and Betws is a great centre for exploring Snowdonia National Park, the North Wales coast, and the many other tourist attractions in the area. We shall return to this lovely part of the world, but above all we shall look forward to another dose of Sarah and Ben’s wonderful hospitality

Sarah and Ben are lovely hosts.
they were very welcoming and very helpful but not "in your face "
we only stayed one night to climb Snowdon the next day.
we would definitely go again. the village was really lovely and the family room we stayed in was dual aspect and very comfortable and very clean.
the only thing I would say ....the tv was old and we couldn't really watch it without getting down from the top of the wardrobe.
having said that we has a fab time and the breakfast was lovely,(sausages slightly too big !)
Ben was very helpful on our day of departure filling flasks and offering advice about our trip

thank you Ben and Sarah

The raw beauty of Snowdonia National Park came to life as I awoke at first light and drew back the curtains in my very cosy and comfortable room.

The welcome the night before on my arrival was almost just like seeing old friends again, such was the ease and informality with which the relatively new owners Sarah and Ben had warmly greeted me after a weary long drive.

From that moment I knew I had chosen the right place for my short break.

Nothing seemed to be an effort to them and they've clearly developed a beautifully crafted system of hospitality.

Like a couple dancing an intricate tango by moonlight but doing it so well that the audience appreciate the efforts needed to create the show but happily enjoy the benefits of the quality performance.

The little touches , the travellers bookcase, the local maps, the cosy lounge armchairs, the ample onsite carpark, the fresh towels in the rooms, the great breakfast where even the sauce is quality Heinz , and much much more all add to this being such a great place from which to enjoy and explore the locality.

I had expected the accommodation to be just an anonymous aside to the short break, but am very pleased to have discovered and booked this little gem and also very pleased to have met the two great new owners and I certainly hope they are here for a long time as I most definitely will return to this delightful venue.

Stayed for one night with my husband and daughter. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts Ben and Sarah who quickly charmed and befriended our over excited toddler!
We had a large dual aspect room which was spotlessly clean and well laid out.
Breakfast was fantastic. The location was just perfect and a carpark made life so much easier.
We will definitely be back!

Just got back from a great stay. I was made really welcome by the owners, Ben and Sarah. The B&B is within easy walking distance of shops, cafés and pubs as well as the beautiful waterfall. I had my 8 month old daughter with me and accommodating her at the B&B was not an issue. Room was great and big enough to fit the travel cot in. Breakfast was also yummy! Llanberris/ Snowdon is only 30 mins away by car and as you'd expect the scenery is amazing. Certainly intend to go back to Bryn Llewelyn again!

Stayed for one night as a stop off on the way to visit family in North Wales, we were given the family room for myself, wife and excitable toddler. Large room, with plenty of space for our travel cot despite there already being a double and a single in there - we probably could have fitted another cot in with ease, but thankfully we don't have twins . . .

The location is great, right in the centre of the village about a minutes walk from Pont-y-Pair (Ithink!) bridge - and has its own car park.

The hosts were very welcoming, and coped with a rampant toddler with aplomb and grace.

So to the bed and breakfast side of things . . .the bed was extremely comfortable and provided a great nights sleep, and the breakfast was grand.

Will be using the place again.
