Tracey & Stefan were great hosts. Room was clean with tea, coffee, Hot chocolate and Horlick's provided in room. Walk to town was great and places of interest all close by. We would highly recommend staying, we will definitely be returning.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Maes-y-Garth for 3 nights and we both found it to be lovely! Tracey and Stefan were so chatty and friendly and really made our stay so personal. The room was lovely and clean and breakfast was excellent. The room was well-stocked with biscuits and tea/coffee/hot chocolate for a long days walking. Tracy gave us lots of advice of places to eat and places to visit which was particularly useful when planning a route to climb Snowdon.
The B&B is in a very picturesque location with stunning views over the valley and a short walk into Betws-y-coed which was such a lovely little village. It is such a good location for visiting various parts of Snowdonia and we definitely had a very busy few days! I'd highly recommend the Trefriw trails, climbing Snowdon, visiting Llanberis, Beddgelert and also Conwy.
We had a fantastic trip and I'd recommend this B&B to anyone. Thanks again for having us Tracy and Stefan! :-)

Our expectations of this place did not disappoint!!! So much so that we have booked to go again later in the year and we cannot wait. This has to be one of the nicest guest houses we have ever stayed in...clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with lovely views. Fabulous, friendly and very welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very personable and we loved how at breakfast they spoke to us using our names. Good hosts remember names!Breakfasts were lovely with a great choice. We loved the 'tick list' which meant that we got exactly what we ordered and it was cooked to perfection. They also provided a packed lunch if it was required which we thought was a nice touch and at a very reasonable price. We did not require it on this ocassion but am sure that we will on our next visit.

There were lots of other little things which makes this a great place such as torches for night time walks into Betws-y-Coed, umbrellas if its raining, a central fridge for guests to use, parking, locakable garage to store your bikes...

Thank you Tracey and Stefan for looking after us and we look forward to staying with you again later in the year.

More accomodating hosts you could not wish to find...Tracey & Stefan have put great effort into making Maes-y-Garth a real home from home with all creature comforts provided for.The room and ensuite were spotless, comfy & warm, with well-stocked hot-drink-making tray ( that's me happy!) & an abundance of towels in the bathroom along with complimentary toiletries. The excellent breakfast (& I was catered for as a vegetarian) was only enhanced by the wonderful view over the valley in which Betws-y-Coed lies. Standing out on the breakfast room balcony at dusk looking at the wreaths of mist around the tops of the trees, listening to the sheep calling to their lambs couldn't be bettered....thoroughly recommended!

Room Tip: We stayed in a room at the back overlooking the garden & it was very peaceful.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a relaxing stay. The room was lovely, clean, well equipped with all we needed. A short walk to Betsy co ed with torches provided to walk across the suspension bridge. A fridge for use by the guests is in the dining room to put wine etc in! Breakfast was good, Tracey offered to make me a vegetarian cooked breakfast! They are so helpful. Thank you for looking after us.
It is good for stargazing, no light pollution.
