“best B&B by miles!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2008

myself and a girlfriend were visiting North Wales for 4 days and stayed at this B&B for 3 nights, when we arrived we were greeted by Rose with a cup of tea and a large slice of cake! most welcome, we ate our cake in the lounge of the house with the wonderful views through the french windows which opened onto a balcany which over looked a superb vesta of rolling hills.
I love North Wales anyway but this view took my breath away.
the room was spotlessly clean and airy with VERY comfortable beds, no expence was spared in the quality of the furnature.
at breakfast we had a choice of full English or smoked Salmon so the first two days we had the salmon which was superb and the last day we had the full English which was excelant.
Rose and Steve were always going out of there way to help us, they even got in some Horlicks and apple juice for me!
we had a most enjoyable 4 days at Maes-y-Garth and would recomend this place to anybody.
thank you Rose and Steve.

I picked this B & B from the Snowdonia Website and what made up my mind was the photos of the bedrooms, dining room, sitting room but most of all the balcony. I imagined my husband and I sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the sun go down with a nice glass of wine. Unfortunately the weather did not allow this but we enjoyed our stay very much. We were welcomed by Rose with tea/coffe and home made cake. The rooms were everything we expected and Rose and Steve were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious especially the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I would definitely recommend this B & B to anyone and if we are in the area again would hope to stay there.

Having had some terrible experiences of accommodation in the UK in the past, it was with some trepidation that booked the B&B.

Maes-y Garth changed my mind tenfold. Our tastefully furnished room was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. The en-suite was similarly spotless with big fluffy towels in abundance.

Breakfast was a feast, cereals and fresh fruit were readily available, with limitless supplies of tea, coffee and toast being offered. The cooked breakfast kept my husband full until well after lunch and the smoked salmon and scambled eggs were to die for.

Nothing was too much trouble for hosts Rose and Steve who were so friendly. As the title says this B&B is outstanding in every way.
