We recently spent 4 days in Wales which was my first visit to this part of the UK. This delightful B&B with plenty of character definitely made a great impression on me. Petra, our landlady, was very welcoming making every effort to make us feel at home. Our room was tastefully furnished, spotless and with good views around. There was a great selection of teas and coffee too. The breakfast was very delicious with a great choice and plenty of everything. The location of the B&B is excellent, close to restaurants, shops etc. yet still very quiet. There is free parking space at the back of the garden. If you stay until Monday make sure you don't miss the Welsh male choir in the evening it is well worth it. We would highly recommend to stay at this lovely and friendly B&B.

We were absolutely delighted with the service provided by Petra at Mount Garmon View, and we are finding it very hard to think of anything negative to day! We were welcomed by the landlady personally with afternoon tea and homemade cake; the rooms and the house were spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable; the breakfasts were deliciously wonderful and extremely healthy, I don't think I've ever had such a fat-free fry up! And on top of all of this, the B&B is right in the middle of the picturesque town of Betws-y-Coed, with many attractions nearby, for which the lovely and bubbly Petra is more than happy to provide more information. A truly wonderful experience!

We stayed 3 nights here, and we will be returning, without hesitation. Nothing's too much trouble for this dynamo of a woman! The house is immaculately clean, a lovely place, nice garden, nice rooms. Breakfast was great, lots of choice, a pleasant dining room. The house is on the main road through the village, but that wasn't a problem; there's parking off road, and it's within easy walking distance of lots of places to eat and drink. Petra offers pretty much anything in the way of tips, advice, local knowledge - she suggested Penryn Castle and it blew our minds. If you're a gardener, you probably already know about Bodnant - but if you don't - do visit it.

Fantastic Bed and Breakfast excellent rooms and a great breakfast as before when we stayed at Easter. Thank you Petra we cannot recommend for Bed and Breakfast enough, the welcoming pot of tea and biscuits in the garden after our journey was so relaxing and we have already made a booking for next year. We slept like logs in Room 1 and we can recommend the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast. If you looking for the perfect B&B you need to stop here!

A fantastic stay in a superb guest house run by Petra, an old friend from school. The bedrooms are spotless, well equipped and stunning. On arrival we had afternoon tea with homemade cake in the garden, lapping up the atmosphere of such a delightful village. Breakfasts extremely tasty, nothing was too much trouble-thank you Petra. A lovely stay and perfect for travelling to Mount Snowdon to climb. We will be back. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

This is the best B & B we've stayed in to date. Petra the owner gave an enthusiastic warm welcome making us feel immediately comfortable. For us mountain/rock climbing and all things outdoors is the reason we base ourselves in Betws-y-Coed.... a bath is an essential for us considering our activities and most rooms here have one. Room 3 appears to be the smallest however it was more than adequate considering all our extra gear to store. Really comfortable bed, good sized bathroom and plenty of storage. Rooms cleaned to an immaculate standard daily and a little chocolate treat to return to : )... Fantastic breakfast menu with fresh cut fruit for starters, huge pots of tea and 5 star cooked breakfasts. We had freshly cooked porridge daily to keep us going until lunch. If your in need of an amazing sandwich for a packed lunch SIOBAD Café is the place to go. Petra will give you plenty of tips on really good places to eat. Best tip was a rest day a Newborough beach ... amazing ...
I plan to do abit of solo mountaineering and am so pleased to have found this B & B as a lone female Id feel more than happy to stay on my own. The location is excellent too right in the middle and minutes from all the shops and restaurants.
We will most certainly be back for a visit.

A very enthisiastic welcome from our host, Petra, who then proved to be most helpful throughout our short stay; nothing was too much for her. The bedroom, Room 1, was very well equipped, clean, tidy, spacious and what you would expect from 4 star accommodation. Breakfasts were typical B&B fare (continental style, fruits, yoghurts, juice, tea/coffee and/or cooked breakfasts) but these were comprised of fresh and where possible local produce. Excellent.

The one thing that slightly, and only slightly, detracts from this and most of the other B&B's and hotels in Betws y Coed is the main road through the town passes directly outside the house and you may be woken up by passing traffic; but "hey" we had our windows wide open during the recent hot spell and getting up early meant we had more time to spend in this beautiful and interesting area situated in the heart of North Wales. Castles, gardens, attractions and outdoor activities abound, you will be spoilt for choice!

Enjoy the opportunities this part of Wales presents to you no matter what the weather and remember there may be other accommodation that is as good as Mount Garmon but trust me there will be none better!
