We enjoyed four days with very warm sunshine and not a drop of rain! John and Melanie made us very welcome with a cracking cup of tea served out on the terrace, and what a lovely view!
Our room, on the ground floor, was sumptuous. The king sized bed was so comfy that we didn't want to leave it in the morning but I don't think breakfast in bed was on offer!
We loved the decor - so fresh and modern.
The service, by Jacqui, at breakfast time (We did eventually stagger out!) was lovely. What a treasure she is.
Thank you John for the great breakfasts. I loved the fresh fruit and yogurt. We tried the smoked salmon, next day the waffles, and then the Full English (Should that be Full Welsh?). Only complaint was that we couldn't eat it all!
It was great that you were walking distance to the town, albeit over a wobbly bridge!
Thank you for recommending and booking a table for us at your local pub/restaurant for our evening meals. Wonderful.
We really enjoyed our stay, enormously, and hope that we can, one day, return.
