Me and my neice often stop for a bite to eat and our 2 dogs enjoy watching the little trains go past. The shop is an alladins cave for modellers and the owner remembers us and is always pleased to see us , no visit to the area is complete without calling here , dont miss it!

We took our Grandson here on July7th .We have been before and visited Betwys Coed many times. But this little gem is a must ,the little train is superb. young or old you will enjoying.
The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, they aim to please and deserve a lot of credit for making little ones so welcome.
It's not over priced, far far better than rides we visited in Rhyl!! the Icecream cost more.
Do give it a whirl.

Fantastic museum that appeals to young and old alike. 20p coin operated railway layouts had a group of elderly ladies reminiscing of their long lost youth. One layout has been built in an old railway carriage and has a working funfair and cable car albeit 70 times smaller. The shop has a collection of books, magazines and dvd's plus an amazing array of model railways. Scales range from "Z" gauge to Basset Lowke "O" gauge plus outdoor models. 7" layout outside usually a big hit with the children and a converted carriage for a kitchen serving refreshments and meals in an old dining car.

Great memorable day out for families and children (of all ages).

Popped in here with my wife while on a two week holiday in Snowdonia. We wandered around the shop in particular in a mesmeric state - it was a spot of time travel back to childhood when model building was a daily pastime.

Summary: Great place.
