Owner description: These falls add to Betws-y-Coed's already great rustic beauty.

The most spectacular waterfall imaginable and with the recent heavy rain, at full throttle. It costs a derisory amount to enter, descend the steps and feel the power of nature up close and personal. There's a car park opposite but you have to pay; if you can get into the lay-by on the side of the falls, it's free - a bit like Aysgarth, from what I remember, but unlike that one in the t'Yorkshire Dales - Hardraw Force? - where you have to go into someone's private garden and pay through the nose - well, dear reader,I didn't.

A great waterfall right at the side of the road just outside Betws-y-coed, it was a spectacular sight when we visited as there had been a lot of rain

The falls were impressive after some heavy rain during the previous week. Access is good and well maintained, apart from the turnstile entrance which is not so easy to navigate. You need a £1 coin.
